PhD student at the university of Iowa, medicinal and natural products chemistry department. Post comprehensive exam with 2 years left in the PhD program. Bachelors degree from university of the incarnate word in San Antonio Texas. Chemistry major. Several years of tutoring experience and many graduate level classes taken. Pursuing PhD to become a college professor.
Experience
I started out tutoring in college during my junior and senior year. I worked for the college as a tutor as well as outside of the classroom with students who needed extra help on the weekends or after school. I am pursuing a PhD, to one day become a college professor. I have taken college level math up to calculus 2, physics 1 and 2, as well as general chemistry 1and 2, organic 1and 2. I am on several fellowships and was a Deans lists recipient while in undergraduate studies. I love teaching and tutoring students which is why I decided to pursue a PhD. I have experience with one on one tutoring as well as classroom lessons. I currently conduct research in a laboratory setting and have experience with lab training students as well.
